Yvonne Sangster Mountain View Pastel Workshop

These dates have been on my calendar for a few months. I registered for a Mountain View Art Guild Pastel Workshop with my favorite pastel artist, Yvonne Sangster. She is an amazing person and I am fortunate enough to spend our free time with her. I’ll keep you updated about our workshop the next few days.

Can’t wait to open my pastels. These are Yvonne’s.

At her demonstration at the Mountain View Art Guild last night, she brought a rough sketch of an Ozark landscape and filled in the mass in less than an hour. I could watch her work all day long.

Can’t wait to set up my supplies and get to work.

And, it is gorgeous in the Ozarks.

I forgot to tell you I get to spend time with my best friend, MeMe while I’m in Mountain View. Doesn’t get much better than this.

Do you have experience with Pastels?

What have you been doing lately?

Those pastels are artwork in themselves. Pinning that picture! Sounds like a fantastic class. I’m at Dairy Hollow in Eureka Springs for 10 days. Glorious. Have fun! And Sic’ ’em Bears. (couldn’t resist)…:)

Thank you Grace Grits and Gardening. I’ll pin that picture. It’s a great class. I we are so geographically close to you. Oh my, those Sooners. Your Bears, did well. Big hug.
