It’s Been Cotton Season

Today I’m sharing a painting of some southeast Arkansas cotton in pastel. One night this week, I had trouble falling asleep so I painted this.

This painting is a result of traveling throughout the Delta the last couple of months. I have been admiring the cotton fields. I remember when these were first planted.

southwestarkie, there were soy beans growing right past my front yard. The cotton is so pretty to see if you get over to our corner of the state. Thank you for the compliment and reading!
